Who we are
When you use our Site or send e-mails and other electronic communications to us from your computer or mobile device, you communicate with us electronically. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we send to you electronically comply with legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to facilitate spam detection.
The Gravatar service may be provided with an anonymous string (also called a hash) created from your email address to verify that you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Upon approval of your comment, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF). Website visitors may download and extract any location data from the images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so that you do not have to re-enter your details when leaving another comment. These cookies have a duration of one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set several cookies to store your login information and screen display options. Login cookies last for two days and display options cookies last for one year. If you select «Remember Me,» your login will be retained for two weeks. If you log out, your login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and simply indicates the publication ID of the article you have just edited. It expires the next day.
How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments, rather than keeping them in the moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their user name). Website administrators can also view and edit such information.
